WindTurbines are just so
very different...
A real need-to-know
On the alternative Energy website we have posted the notice, read all about it HERE.
World WindEnergy Day
Good to know...
Each year, 16 June is World WindEnergy Day. Some Governments worldwide will have activities planned, however positive improvements are still far away.http://forums.alternative-energy-news.info/thread-223.html
Bad News For Nature
Not so good to know...
Some European Governments have adapted a so-called Centralized Strategy for Windturbines. This means that small windturbines make almost no chance to pass the (already) stringent City Governmental Permit License requirements. All multi-mW (Large) WindTurbines will be bundled into centralized high wind-yield fields.
I will explain further in the following Article hereunder: "Sea-currents/Waterhighways > Windcurrents/Windhighways ".
Welcome to your planet
How GREEN are you ?
There are a lot of scientists/archeologists and other accredited field experts trying to get the word out.
I was in Switzerland August 2009. In the mountains there, the snowtops were receding since 1985. Jungfrauhoch Mountain is expected to be completely snowfree within the next 5 years.
Of course people will say: "No problem", but I stand to disagree. The mountainwater usually runs all the way from the mountaintops to the sea, but if it doesn't, all those people and industries relying on that water will be in trouble. Besides, the water is part of nature and even though it's not coming down the mountains, it will still get to be somewhere else. Like increased precipitation (rain) going directly into the seas (for example).
No matter what, if you change one thing, then you (inadvertently) also change something else along with it. That's just the way our planet is inter-connected.
So, I hope more and more people get self-aware, and try to do something good after having done something bad; to balance things, so-to-speak.
I
leave it at this, for now, but do want you to look at what all
those scientists/archeologists and other accredited field
experts
are saying.
That's where the web comes in.
Find these 'Sustainable' movies and 'green' links:
- Movie: the 11th Hour. Watch the trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IBG2V98IBY
- Movie: An inconvenient truth. Watch the trailer here: http://www.climatecrisis.net/trailer/
- Webpage: wecansolveit.org it might be a start ;-)
- HETRONIX can also be found on: Linkedin.com join groups such as this one: Climate Change but feel free to connect to other relevant groups.
- Webpage: Greenpeace find out if they are as "Green" as you are.
- Webpage: Google.com search "sustainable energy website" (like this example HERE).
We hope more people will become more aware. After all, our planet is a pretty nice place ...
Sea-currents/Waterhighways > Windcurrents/Windhighways
What are we "touching"/influencing/destroying ?
In the above article I told you that scientists/archeologists and other accredited field experts trying to speak their findings in an effort to shake us up.
Let's now have a look at WindCurrents. What are they, and what's happening(or going to happen).
As a start, let's look HERE. After you've read it and returned here, know that this also applies to WIND, find also this NASA data HERE.
Now, realise that many sealife creatures - such as Fish (I'll name sharks), Mammals like dolphins, Turtles, Tuna, etc. - use sea-currents as highways. So destroying sea-currents means destroying the way our sealife lives.
Next, realise that many bird-species use wind-currents also as highways. So massively destroying wind-currents means destroying the way our birds have migrated since the days of the dinosaurs.
With this in mind I'm sure you agree that placing massive combined Windparks at (energy)rich windcurrent locations is NOT the right way to move forward. Speading means less impact (read damage) to our planet.
I give you these links to consider, ( Link 1, Link 2 ) and remember that the reasons are two-fold:
1. Windrich windcurrents are bird migration highways
2. MegaWatt windturbines produce low dB noice. Birds 'hear' this too late...( As manufacturer I have been asked the impact of small windturbines as KEITH_2K many times, but rest assured, nearly all small windturbines produce high dB, which basically scares-away animals. Now just remember this for the future ....
